Job Responsibilities

As a Surveyor Helper, your role will include, but will not be limited to, the following responsibilities:

• Assisting surveyors in conducting field surveys for topographic, boundary, and construction projects.
• Setting up and taking down surveying equipment, such as total stations, GPS units, and levels.
• Collecting and recording data accurately in the field and preparing reports and summaries.
• Maintaining and organizing field equipment and ensuring safety protocols are followed.
• Providing support with measurements, calculations, and documentation of survey findings.
• Communicating effectively with team members and clients to ensure project goals are met.

Qualifications

We are looking for candidates who meet the following qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant coursework or experience in surveying is a plus.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and terrains.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic mathematical skills, with an understanding of geometry and spatial concepts.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and willingness to learn new software tools.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
