Key Responsibilities

As a sewing machinist, your role will include the following responsibilities:

• Operating and maintaining industrial sewing machines in a safe and efficient manner.
• Reading and interpreting patterns and technical specifications to produce high-quality garments.
• Cutting, sewing, and finishing fabric according to established quality standards.
• Working collaboratively with team members to ensure timely production schedules are met.
• Conducting quality inspections on finished products to guarantee adherence to company standards.
• Troubleshooting and resolving minor machine issues to minimize downtime.

Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate for the sewing machinist position will possess the following skills and qualifications:

• Proven experience as a sewing machinist with a strong portfolio of completed work.
• Proficiency in operating various sewing machines, including industrial sewing and serger machines.
• Strong attention to detail and an understanding of garment construction techniques.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, meeting tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the capability to react swiftly to production challenges.

Work Hours and Location

This position is based at our main production facility, conveniently located downtown. Full-time positions available with the following hour shifts:

• Day Shift: Monday to Friday, 8 AM – 4 PM
• Night Shift: Sunday to Thursday, 4 PM – 12 AM

We may also offer part-time positions for individuals requiring flexible schedules.
