Job Responsibilities
- Process and manage post GDS bookings efficiently and accurately.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to resolve booking inquiries.
- Monitor and maintain booking records for accuracy and completeness.
- Provide excellent customer support to clients by addressing their post-booking queries.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of airline policies, procedures, and fare structures.
- Assist in the development of training materials for new staff within the post GDS department.
- Support and implement new systems or technologies to streamline processes.
Qualifications
To be considered for the Post GDS position, candidates should meet the following requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality, Travel Management, or a related field.
- A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a similar role within the travel industry.
- Hands-on experience with Global Distribution Systems (GDS) like Amadeus, Sabre, or Travelport.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with excellent customer service abilities.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
