Job Responsibilities

As a pediatric physical therapist, you will:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess children’s motor skills, balance, and overall functional abilities.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on evaluation results and family goals.
• Implement therapeutic interventions to improve mobility, strength, coordination, and overall physical functioning.
• Educate families on exercises, adaptive techniques, and resources to support the child’s development at home.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide integrated care for children with diverse needs.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and outcomes following ethical and legal standards.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with industry best practices and advances in pediatric therapy.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy, with a Master’s or Doctorate preferred.
• Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a physical therapist.
• Experience working in a pediatric setting is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with children and families.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to therapy.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
