Position: Registered Nurse
Location: St. Anna’s Medical Center, Springfield, IL
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $70,000 – $85,000 per annum (commensurate with experience)

The Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate registered nurse (RN) to join our dynamic healthcare team. As a registered nurse at St. Anna’s, you will play a critical role in providing top-notch care to our patients across various departments including the emergency room, surgical unit, and inpatient wards.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patient health, including vital signs, and report changes to the healthcare team.
- Collaborate with doctors and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Educate patients and their families about health conditions, medications, and post-hospital care.
- Maintain accurate, detailed reports and records of patient activities and treatments.
- Assist with diagnostic tests and analyze results to help inform patient care.
- Provide emotional support and reassurance to patients and their families during difficult times.
- Uphold the highest standards of nursing care by following established protocols and procedures.
Qualifications
- Current RN license in the state of Illinois.
- A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred, but candidates with an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) and relevant experience will be considered.
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a clinical setting.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and team members.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification is a plus.
