About the Role

As the Ifoster Jobs Program Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and management of our comprehensive job program. Your focus will be on building partnerships with employers, mentoring foster youth, and ensuring that participants gain the skills and opportunities necessary for successful employment.

Key Responsibilities

Design and manage the Ifoster Jobs Program, ensuring alignment with the needs of foster youth and the requirements of participating employers.
Establish and maintain partnerships with local businesses, nonprofits, and educational institutions to create job placement opportunities.
Provide one-on-one career coaching, mentoring, and guidance to youth participants, helping them navigate the job market and develop essential skills.
Organize job fairs, workshops, and training sessions to enhance participant employability.
Monitor participant progress and collect feedback to continuously improve program offerings and outcomes.
Develop promotional materials and communicate effectively with stakeholders about the program’s goals and successes.
Manage program budget and funding reports, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and grant requirements.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Education, Human Resources, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience working with youth, preferably in foster care or similar environments.
Strong understanding of labor market trends and a network of potential employer partners.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other digital tools for tracking and reporting.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, exhibiting leadership qualities.
