Role Overview

The Community Health Assistant will be responsible for various functions that contribute to the effective delivery of health services and educational programs. Key Responsibilities

Conduct community outreach activities to promote health initiatives and access to available resources
Assist with health education programs in schools, workplaces, and community settings

Support health screenings and immunization drives by assisting healthcare professionals

Qualifications

We are looking for candidates who possess the following qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in public health, health education, or a related field is preferred
Previous experience in community health, outreach, or a related role is a plus
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse communities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data entry; familiarity with health outreach software is an advantage
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability
Pursuit of or current certification in First Aid/CPR is highly desirable
