Key Responsibilities

As a Student Veterinary Nurse, you will assist with a wide range of tasks, including but not limited to:

• Supporting the veterinary team in daily clinic operations.
• Assisting with the examination of animals, recording medical histories, and preparing animals for surgeries.
• Administering medications and vaccinations as directed by the registered veterinary nurse or veterinarian.
• Monitoring and assessing the recovery of patients post-surgery.
• Performing routine laboratory tests, including blood work and urinalysis.
• Maintaining cleanliness and sanitation within the clinic environment.
• Interacting with pet owners to discuss care and support their needs.
