Job Overview
The ticketing reservation job description entails managing and processing travel and event ticket arrangements for our clients. Key Responsibilities
- Manage the entire ticketing process from inquiry to reservation confirmation, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
- Communicate with clients to understand their travel and event needs, providing recommendations and booking options accordingly.
- Coordinate with airlines, hotels, and event organizers to secure reservations and make necessary adjustments to itineraries.
- Utilize ticketing software and systems to create and manage bookings, ensuring all information is documented and accurate.
- Process payment transactions and issue tickets in line with company policies and procedures.
- Respond to client inquiries and resolve any issues related to bookings in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of industry trends, travel destinations, and ticketing regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service through active listening and personalized interactions.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance operational efficiency and improve booking processes.
- Prepare reports on ticket sales, reservations, and client feedback to assist in business development.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in hospitality, travel, or related field preferred.
- Proven experience in ticketing, reservations, or customer service roles.
- Familiarity with ticketing software (e.g., Amadeus, Sabre) is desirable.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with an ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting and foster positive relationships.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Adaptability and a passion for solving problems in dynamic situations.
Work Environment
This position is based in our modern office located in downtown Seattle, Washington. The work environment is fast-paced, and we encourage collaboration among departments. The typical working hours are Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, with limited weekend and evening hours as needed based on travel demands.
